IST training professionals ensure the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competences using the teaching of vocational or practical skills and knowledge that relate to specific applications to their trainees. This forms a type of apprenticeships and provides the backbone of content at the organization.
The Application-training break up into three aspects: User (Operational) training, Administrator (Maintenance) training and Source code experience-transfer training.

Operational Training:
Operational training will focus on operating the systems covering areas including, but not limited to, logging in, accessing menus, using data entry panels, generating queries and report, troubleshooting.
The Application-training will cover on-site, on-hand, on-job & Train the trainer methodology.

On-site:
while the implementation of IST software, The aim of such a training program is to build up & increase the familiarity of the trainee with the troubleshooting Diagnostic tools & utilities in order to achieve efficient problem reporting.

On-hand:
Hands-on training shall be prominent in the training plan. After successfully completing all lecture and lab type training sessions.

On-job:
The trainees will be given a specialized on-job training program where they will participate in doing the actual work along with our counterparts. The value of on-job-training in providing practical skills and understanding shall be emphasized in the training plan.

Train the trainer:
If the availability of such employees is easier said than done, it is recommended to select expert, skilled and unprejudiced employee, on department, function & process basis, who has the capability and skills to train the rest of his colleagues to act as a dedicated trainee.

IST Will prepare training material and provide copies for each trainee for future reference. The training sessions includes both classroom and hands-on training.

Microsoft Products Training
Administrator training will focus on areas including, but not limited to, set-up, configuration, table maintenance, administration utilities, security administration and backup/restore.

This training will cover the following courses:
- How to Manage, Maintain & Implement Microsoft Windows Server.
- How to Manage, Recover & Monitor Exchange Server.
- How to Implement Windows, Microsoft Office Share Point Server.
- How to Manage Network Security & Firewalls.
- Cisco Voice Over IP quality of service, fundamentals, troubleshooting, IP Telephony and gateways implementation.
- How to Manage, Maintain & Implement Microsoft SQL Servers.
- How to Manage, Maintain & Implement hardware.

Training will take place at customer site by IST specialists; IST will deliver report of achievements by the end of each course to the organization’s management.

Source Code training
Source code experience transfer training will be conducted by IST computer science-engineering specialists to build up & increase the experience of handling source code for the organization’s IT department. It will include on-site, on-hand, on-job & Train the trainer methodology, at the end, the organization’s IT department personnel will be equipped to handle the source code and upgrade the systems delivered at any time.

Training specifications:

1) Training will start before the beginning of the installation phase and will continue through the closing stages of the implementation phase and maintenance period.

2) At the end of a training course or program, each trainee will be able to demonstrate achievement of training objectives by performing the designed functions for the course or program. All technical training programs or courses related to specific hardware or software should result in certification by the original manufacturer or software developer.

3) The training plan will provide for formal classroom, On-Job-Training (OJT), and computer based interactive. Hands-on training shall be prominent in the training plan. After successfully completing all lecture and lab type training sessions. The trainees will be given a specialized on-job training program where they will participate in doing the actual work along with our counterparts.

4) The training plan will identify training tracks for the various jobs in system management, operation, and maintenance. The courses within each training track must be detailed as specified above and will lead to certification by the original manufacturer or developer.

5) Training will be conducted for entry, intermediate, and advanced level personnel.

6) The value of on-job-training in providing practical skills and understanding shall be emphasized in the training plan.

7) For maximum benefit, training will be oriented to installation, operation, maintenance, and management of the software that is to be installed, operated, maintained, and managed by the staff and personnel.

8) The training plan will identify the number of trained personnel needed for management, installation, and maintenance of the new system and will provide a schedule for training a sufficient number of individuals to perform those tasks.

9) The training plan will ensure that a sufficient number of the clent's personnel will be trained in the operation of the system and qualified as instructors to train administration personnel on system operation.  The training schedule will be such that the client's personnel are sufficiently trained to effectively participate in the various phases of installation and operational use of the new system.
